TEMPORARY TEACHING OVERSEAS

The standard cover provided by the Yoga-Link scheme indemnifies Yoga teachers throughout Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.  It follows that only residents from within these geographical limits (and in certain circumstances from the Republic of Ireland) are eligible to join the scheme.

Temporary cover for UK resident teachers is provided for up to 30 days per annum automatically.   This period can be extended further subject to application whereby indemnity is granted to teachers anywhere in the world (excluding North America and Canada) for a period of 60 days for an additional premium – currently £26.00*.

Additional blocks of 60 days can also be purchased at £26.00* subject to a maximum of 180 days total in any single calendar year.

The main purpose of the extension however, is to indemnify teachers that take groups of students abroad on retreat or for a Yoga holiday.
