What is Yoga-Link? What is covered? Who is it for?

This insurance is for Yoga Teachers. The cover provided is Professional Liability incorporating Malpractice & Public/Products Liability to an indemnity limit of £5m as standard and written on a 'claims-made' basis.

The Yoga-Link policy is an annual contract available for residents of Great Britain and all Ireland and automatically provides cover throughout these countries and for up to 60 teaching days temporarily teaching overseas (excluding USA & Canada).

It indemnifies the yoga teacher's legal liabilities to third parties, including the students in their charge. It protects the teacher against errors or omissions that might give rise to accidental damage to, or loss of property, or injury to persons - but only 'pays out' when it can be established that the teacher is 'legally' liable.

General Yoga Teaching to Adults and/or Children (involving Postures including limbering and chair-based exercises, Breathing Exercises, Relaxation and Meditation) is regarded as standard. Other activities such as Remedial Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Post Natal and Baby Yoga, Teacher Training, Commercial Legal Expenses etc can be added subject to confirmation.
